Introducing "Building Inclusion Through Play"
To help you Choose Respect this Anti-Bullying Week we are proud to launch our innovative "Building Inclusion Through Play" educator resource videos. The videos help you use play-based learning to challenge stereotypes and create cultures of respect and a celebration of difference in your setting.
By embracing our "Building Inclusion Through Play" resources and the message of choosing respect, we can:
- Equip young people with the tools to be upstanders to bullying
- Remind adults of their crucial role in modelling respectful behaviour, both online and offline
- Create a society where every young person feels valued, respected, and free to be themselves
They provide educators with practical, engaging resources to encourage more inclusive learning environments. By harnessing the power of play, you can make complex topics of diversity and inclusion accessible to young learners, encouraging empathy and understanding from an early age.
The resource packs will help equip teachers with effective tools to create more inclusive classrooms and reduce incidents of bullying by promoting a culture of respect and encouraging young people to be upstander rather than bystanders to stereotyping and bullying.

In this Learning Through Play Activity pupils will explore stereotypes linked to job roles, and the dangers of stereotyping and forming assumptions about people. Pupils are invited to design their own stereotype defying minifigure.
