We're excited to announce the appointment of six exceptional individuals to our Board of Trustees.

Each brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and diversity to accelerate our mission to promote understanding and acceptance of individual differences and end LGBTQ+ bullying in schools.

Our new trustees are:

Daniel Hughes: Media and Communications Expert and former political advisor

Ross McKellar: Finance Professional and DE&I Leader in the energy sector

Dena Tahmasebi: Global Corporate Communications, Public Relations, DE&I Advisor and former BBC journalist

They join Symon Wheelhouse who also became a Diversity Role Models Trustee and advisor in June this year.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our departing trustees, Amanda Whiteside (former Chair) and Steve Sutton (former Secretary) for their years of work supporting the Charity. We’re extremely grateful for their valuable contributions during their tenures.

Christopher Drennen, a former Trustee and Interim CEO of the Charity, has been appointed Chair, and Daniela Grasso, a current Trustee, has been appointed a Vice Chair, of the Board of Trustees alongside Vice Chair Heidi Mallace.

Join us in welcoming our new trustees, who will support the Charity and drive it forward to create a world where everyone embraces diversity and can thrive.
